A wonderful thrill
Send ‘The Ancient Mariner’ on tour to anywhere.
Ekstra Bladet October 4th 2006

Let us head out!
“The Ancient Mariner tells, with its seductive sailor-songs, the story of a fateful mistake and a life-long penance. Music-theatre for the big boys and the girls who love them.”

Politiken.dk March 23rd 2005.

The ancient mariner
“But first and last there is the music. The composer Chris Jordan, who acts in the piece, looking like a smart undertaker in his black suit, but making such magic with his tunes, that you can hardly sit still on your chair.”
Henrik Lyding, Jyllandsposten
Jyllandsposten March 17th 2005

Seducing & captivating
“You fly along out into the universe, out between the sky and the sea, where angels and demons, dreams and nightmares rule, and stories are created.
Anyway, you forget all that and give yourself over to OIM and something that doesn’t look like anything else in Danish theatre: a poetic and, in this case, also acid-like picture-story told in its very own genre, somewhere between a theatre-concert, a musical, an opera and a cabaret. Beautiful, pompous, inviting and seductively thought, sung and acted out by six men. … In this OIM interpretation the poem, written by the English romantic Samuel Taylor Coleridge in the early 1800s, becomes a man, a ship, a bird, a gun, a wedding, a shot, a woman, pain, a curse, God, death and the grandeur of nature …”
Jorgen Aagaard, Fyens Stiftstidende March 16th 2005
